As part of our launch, we invite families across Asheville to take part in our community-wide butterfly art installation series, Wings of Hope—a vibrant display of resilience, creativity, and hope.

Each butterfly represents a story of healing. Together, they form a collective flight toward a more connected and nourished community.

Our Story

In the wake of disruption—from hurricanes to pandemics—our families and communities need safe spaces to heal. Grow Together WNC offers just that: a place to connect, create, and come back to life together.

Our mission is to provide post-crisis healing through collective creativity, nurturing resilience, connection, and joy within our community.Through community art installations, music, dance, and movement workshops, we empower families to transform pain into expression and isolation into belonging.

We started as a seed to help families recover and heal from the longterm impact of COVID and then Hurricane Helene devastated our community and the need for healing grew. The seed has germinated and now, with your support, we are growing! We appreciate you visiting and learning more.

Community Art Therapy Projects

Engage in a transformative community art project to heal with your family, next to neighbors while creating something transformative. Discover the power of art in fostering resilience and building connections.

Family Camp

Another seedling just taking root--we are working to create a family camp out near Asheville, NC where local families can sign up to share skills, art, music, and movement for kids of all ages and their parents/caregivers. Our aim is to bring the community together through the universal language of music, art, movement and crafting/creating. Join us in spreading joy and connection in the majestic woods we call home.
